AFC Doctors Express is staffed by a highly qualified and experienced team of board certified / eligible doctors and medical staff. All doctors are board certified / eligible in Internal Medicine of Family Practice Medicine and have many years of training and experience with a wide range of health issues. Our medical team is dedicated to providing excellent and compassionate medical care.

How does AFC Doctors Express’ Billing Process work?

AFC Doctors Express may not be a participating provider with your insurance plan, however, we will bill your insurance carrier for your urgent care services; AFC Doctors Express will follow your insurance carrier’s reimbursement instructions detailed in your Explanation of Benefits (EOB). You may be responsible for co-payments and deductibles as directed by your health insurance carrier, as well as the full amount of services provided by AFC Doctors Express.

What happens when I leave the Urgent Care Center?

Complete discharge instructions will be provided and you will be notified about any abnormal lab results or x-rays. With your written permission, a record of your treatment will be faxed to your primary care physician, who can provide any follow up care. If you wish, prescriptions the medical team ordered can be purchased for a nominal fee in our clinic or relayed to your preferred pharmacy ahead of time, to be ready when you arrive.

Will my insurance cover AFC Doctors Express Urgent Care?

We are in network providers for Regence, United Health Care, Premera, Medicare and most other major insurance companies. In the event we are not contracted with your insurance carrier, we’ll still see you and provide you with the necessary paperwork to return to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Not only do most health insurance carriers pay for services rendered at an urgent care center, most actually encourage their use via lower co-payments for urgent care centers compared to hospital emergency room visits. Most health insurance plans now recognize the significant cost savings urgent care centers offer versus the emergency room.

Do I have to make an appointment?

No, you can walk-in during our normal business hours and be seen by a physician without a long wait.

How much will the visit cost if I have no insurance?

There is a range of costs for the office visit depending on the complexity of the medical problem. We offer cash discounts for all self pay patients.

What ages do you treat?

We welcome patients of all ages, from 6 months to senior citizens.

Do you do physicals?

We can do sports, camp, and school physicals. We also do pre-employment and DOT / CDL physicals.

Do you do gyn exams?

We perform gynecological exams and Pap Smears.

How much do specific vaccines cost?

The cost of each vaccine is different.

Do you treat STDs?

Yes, we do. And rest assured that we treat your medical information with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.

Can you do sports and camp physicals?

Yes, we can. No appointment is needed. Just come in on a walk-in basis, and we’ll perform the physical. If there’s a required form, please bring that with you.

Do you provide seasonal flu vaccinations?

Yes, we do.

Do you treat allergies?

We provide treatments that can alleviate common allergy symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, itchy eyes, runny noses, etc. Also, we provide nebulizer treatments for when allergies trigger asthma.
